How I work
My approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded in curiosity, compassion, and presence. Together, we explore who you are, where you’ve been, and what matters to you now. Therapy is a space to better understand yourself, make room for the full range of your experiences and emotions, and notice patterns in your life and relationships. We can also consider practical steps toward a life that reflects your values.
Pilgrimage and Therapy
In many ways, my journey to becoming a therapist began on the Camino de Santiago. Walking hundreds of miles taught me the value of slowing down, being present with whatever arises, and approaching the unknown with openness and curiosity. It also deepened my appreciation for the ways we grow and change when we give ourselves the space to explore.
I bring that same spirit into therapy: walking alongside people rather than directing their path, creating space to explore where they've been, where they are, and where they want to go.
I also founded Awayto, an organization offering guided pilgrimages on the Camino de Santiago. Guiding these walks has deepened my appreciation for presence, reflection, and movement, and for walking alongside others without deciding their path for them. That experience informs the spirit I bring to therapy, while the two remain separate: Awayto offers pilgrimage experiences, not psychotherapy or mental health treatment, and taking part is entirely independent of my therapy services.
